... and they are not always photogenic. See this card here, I love it - the colors the simple layout, but it's beauty is not so radiant through my digital camera. Oh, well...

Trying out the 'new' stuff!

I have lots of new scrapbooking and card making items.
  • Quickutz Revolution dies
  • Cuttlebug die cutting machine
  • Cuttlebug embossing folders
  • Cuttlebug dies
  • QK Calvin alphabet
  • chipboard
  • lots of patterned paper - Basic Grey, American Crafts, KI Memories, etc.

I made these cards today. I used the Quickutz Revolution flower and circle tag dies; Chatterbox patterned paper; and lots of other cool embellishments!

Size does not matter ...

I had a card class today. The turn out was low - only three particpants including the store owner along with another participant and her 8-year-old daughter, who was celebrating her birthday! It was still a good time. Card making can be quite relaxing. So, it is not the size of the class because we certainly had a nice time!

Here is one of the cards that we made - there were four total and they were all pretty simple.

I am already full steam ahead on my next big project - a paperbag mini-book with a christmas theme. I hope to post pix in the next week.

Where's my craft time?

Just swamped and the schedule is starting to fill up.

I have at least four cardmaking classes this year. Should be fun, but when will I find the time to create the cards let alone the kits?

I know that I will have much more available time beginning in late December.

Meanwhile, here is another card that is a part of my upcoming card class @ Expression Connection.

Enjoy ...

New Scrapbooking Store near Cambridge, Ohio

Well folks ... I am on a mission to get some of my cards published in a national magazine. I have my eye on Cards, but there is also Paper Trends. In the future, I hope to submit to Take Ten and eventually Paper Crafts and
Creating Keepsakes. I subscribe to most of those and/or read them frequently.

Meanwhile, I will be teaching some card classes in the near future. There is a new scrapbooking store in Cambridge, Ohio. I will be teaching a class there in late September.

Expression Connection
60151 Vahala Lane; Byesville, Ohio
740.439.9890
Hours: Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, 12 noon - 5 p.m

The card posted is one that is a part of the class kit. I will probably teach at least one card class per month. Additionally, I will be teaching a Holiday card class in New Concord in November.

That's it for now ... I only spent $30 on crafting supplies today ... but it's only Thursday and I will be in a big city this weekend. Wish me luck!
