Ready ... Set ... Submit!

Here's a card that I conjured up for a submission to Cards Mag.

To me it seems like a lot is going on ... but I like that. The card 4 x 4 3/4, which is an unusual size, but I halfed a 4 x 9 1/2 card. Good stuff.

Also, my brother gave me the low down on adding a watermark to my pix. Cool.

epoxy sticker: Colorbok

metal word: Making Memories

rick rack: Creative Impressions

Flower and heart die cut: Quickutz

Quickutz Items on My Wishlist

I have not been feenin for Quickutz like I used to. I still like and use what I have, but I am just not really feeling them right now. Some of their new shapes are just not of interest to me; too off the beaten path and not really universal, in my opinion. I still love some of the fonts though ...

Quickutz Grand Alpha Finale

Quickutz Monograms

Quickutz Stars shadows (upper and lowercase)

2008 - the year of being published

So CARDS Mag and Scrapbook Trends have submission deadlines this weekend; and off I went to make some cards.

You know I like the cards, but I love the pix. If they were any richer, you'd be able to taste it.

Thanks for looking.

sketch this cards :: 35

I often check out card related blogs, however, I rarely submit. I love the ideas, contests and sketches, but my sked is so predictably unpredictable.

At any rate, I did get a chance to make a card based on a recent sketch on sketch this cards.
