All About the Pink & Black
Such a cute color combination. I was surprised when I purchased the DCWV (Die Cuts With A View) paper pack called All That Glitters. I like a little bling, but not over the top. I had intended to give the pack away as a gift, but as I flipped through it, I got some ideas and I said, you know I'm going to keep this one.
So I finally got around to using it. It's another mini card set (2 @ 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 and 1 @ 4 x 4). I like the minis and I have some envelopes that they
fit in as well. I guess I could make some envelopes too, huh?Here are the goods:

Oooh, so cute!
The size is 3 1/2 x 5. I'm using Basic Grey's Periphery line. It seems a little dull and grey, but I tried to spice it up a bit. Those Hero Arts stamps fit in nicely or is it the Tim Holtz/Ranger ink that blends in so well. No, no, it's the wonderful embossing courtesy of the Cuttlebug. Point is, I love the way it all works so well together. Good stuff.
Well, at any rate ... thanks for looking!

Goodies Galore
So I participated in a swap on TwoPeas. A swap is something that you sign up for and certain items or themes are used as a part of the swap. This was a Secret Cupid/Valentine Swap. So I made a package for my Secret Sister, meaning I was her Secret
Cupid and I then received a package from my Secret Cupid which was different person.Here are some pix of the goodies. I like the We R Memory Keepers paper because I have some cards w/the same pattern. Oh and there is a new magazine that I will be flipping through this week, Paper Crafts "Paper Crafting with Photos".
This swap was a good experience for me. I feel like I've developed lots of virtual friends - by posting on the Secret Cupid thread; seeing the pix of the goodies that the other participants received and oggling over that stuff. Now I have a friend in California and another in Texas, not to mention everyone else involved. Good times.

sketch this cards :: 40

I've been scouting out the sketch this cards site a lot ... good people and good stuff. So I laid out this card - and with a Valentine's Day theme, of course.
Again, my sewing is in the baby stages. My zigzag is unsteady and I need to figure out why.
